About Us
Plumbers Association of Zambia is non profit making organisation and it was established in 2019.The Association was officially launched on 29th,February 2020 by the Ministry of Water Development,Sanitation and Environmental Protection.
The Association is run by the combination of of experienced local expert in Plumbing, Water, Pipefitting and Mechanical fitting.Our organisation aims to bridge the standard gap among the Zambian and International Plumbers and the local community in respect of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene,Plumbing Technology and Environmental health and safety.
OUR MISSION: To provide quality services, professional and other services support that addresses modern challenges in the Plumbing , Water Supply,Sanitation and Hygiene also contribute to skills development.
OUR VISION: To be a national and regional organisation which provides quality services towards Sustainability and Excellence in Plumbing and Water Sanitation and Hygiene industry.
OUR GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- Protect members of the Association.
- Assist the public in its dealings.
- Promote unity of action on behalf of the members.
- Advance the quality of technical education and skills training.
- To provide outreach projects services to the community especially in rural ,peril urban and also urban areas by improving good water supply and sanitation in hospitals, schools, Prisons, markets and other public places.
- Promote rain water harvests projects in both agriculture and household levels for sustainability.
- Promote Plumbing standards and qualities.
- Promote the benefits and use of plumbing facilities as a viable op for communities.
- To create a bidirectional communication channels to receive input and feedback from regions.
- Build relationships from network diagrams and strengthen communication.
- To ensure Stakeholders know which resources to access match their needs.

Executive Director /Secretary General
Joseph S. Banda is the Executive Director/Secretary General of our team. He leads us in achieving our common goals.

Chief Financial Officer
Obert Rangisi is the Chief Financial Officer, providing strategic financial guidance for the organization. Budgeting and forecasting, prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries. Dealing with work capital management and production of cash flow forecasts. Leading the team responsible for payroll and vat.

Elijah Kabeka
Public Relations Manager
Elijah Kabeka is the Public Relations Manager of the Plumbers Association of Zambia is responsible for planning publicity strategies and campaign, producing presentations, articles, press releases and social media post, designing managing the production of visual communications and digital contents. Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press and related organizations, organising and attending promotional events: conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits. Speak publicly at interviews press conferences and presentations, providing clients/colleagues with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR Campaigns progress. Analyzing media coverage.
Frank Pukeni
Marketing Manager
Oversees all marketing campaigns for the association and implement strategy. - Promote a business, product and services, ensure the organisation is communicating to right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones. - Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including products management sales or customer support, updating senior Leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns.

This an event is about commemorating the important day for the Plumbing industry Worldwide. This is the day plumbers come together and share ideas new technologies in the Plumbing industry and give back to charity by providing free services to the community especially in public and private institutions like schools, hospitals,prisons,markets and other public institutions. Plumbers give opportunities to the public to view and share concerns about plumbing issues and more
This an event to take place in Zambia in all 10 provinces.This is for the preparation of the 2025 WorldSkills Competition Africa to take place in the Tourist Capital-Livingstone-Zambia. Zambia will host the first-ever Worldskills africa. All vocational training Institutions will be part of the event.
PLUMBING EXPO: All are invited for exhibitions; plumbing suppliers, plumbing contractors, individual plumbers, plumbing manufacturers. All are invited for innovations and skills competitions. All international and local exhibitors, stakeholders from various places.
